A Message from the Editor
This month’s issue of the Branch is a bit shorter than usual since activities have slowed down due to summer vacations. But we did want to keep parishioners up to date on the latest news from the Search Committee. And please email to the church office any announcements or articles for next month’s issue by the 24th of August.

Food Pantry
The Food Pantry opened its doors Tuesday, August 9th, 2011. We are very excited to finally be able to have this outreach project here at St. George’s, not only for members of our Church Family, but for those individuals who are in need that come to our Church door. We, at St. George’s are very blessed to have many parishioners who donate canned food and non perishable food items to sustain this project. Please continue to bring your donations to Church every Sunday and place them in the container in the back of the Church.

Search Committee Update
The Search Committee has received a slate of
candidates from the Diocese. We have reviewed all
the application materials. Now we are in the process of
interviewing each of the applicants by telephone or by
Skype, a relatively new computer application that allows
us to see persons we are talking to on the computer
screen while they can see us. Please continue to keep
the candidates and committee in your prayers.
