Our I-HELP Item of the Month program starts this month!
The August item is mens' white socks. If you wish to participate,
please bring a new pair of mens' white socks to church with you
on August 17, 2008 and we will have a box or basket there for
you to put it in.
September's item will be disposable razors. The men do not always get to shave every day, so if you can get a fairly good razor, for example, a Gillette Sensor, it would be best. The date for September's gathering of razors is Sunday, September 14, 2008.
Of course, if you would like to bring more than one pair of socks or one razor, we wouldn't stop you! Thank you for you generosity! If any of you have gently used mens' clothing, it is always welcome. We will keep you posted on upcoming items.
Stephanie and Laura.
Pat and John Walworth have once again graciously opened their home to us and will be hosting our third-annual Open-Air Eucharist and Parish Picnic! The Open-Air Eucharist has become one of the true highlights of the church year at St. George's. Worshiping outdoors in and amongst God's Great Creation truly is a special opportunity. We encourage you to mark your calendars and join us for this year's event — Sunday, October 5, 2008. Below you'll find a few snapshots from last year's gathering.

The usual, third-Sunday Children's Service is currently on hiatus for the summer but will return again in the fall. But that doesn't mean the kids aren't having fun during our regular Sunday School class.

Sunday, June 22, 2008 the kids made "Ice Cream in a Bag" as part of their activities! Yum!
